Locate the four snap tab cavities on the back side of the glass asssembly and align them with the four corresponding snap tabs that are on the front of the round backing plate inside the mirror housing. The two wires for the heated feature can be reattached to either terminal (the wires are both black).Р вЂќРЎС›. Connect all wire connectors and terminals to the back of the replacement glass assembly. There is one connector for the power function and two spade connectors for the heated function. Disconnect all wire terminals from the glass assembly if equipped. Pry a little on one side first, and then the other side, repeating this a few times will gradually loosen the housing and it will pop off.Р вЂќР’В¤. The glass housing can be stubborn to remove. Firmly apply pressure in an upward direction until glass assembly disengages from the backing plate in the mirror housing/shell. Position a wide leverage device (a large flat blade screwdriver works best) between the bottom edge of the glass/holder assembly and the inside of the mirror housing/shell.
